The suspense is……

KILLING ME! I’ve been waiting now, for an ENTIRE week, for a phone call that could possibly contain life-changing news.
If it’s bad news, perhaps I really don’t want to get the phone call, but at least then my torment of wondering and waiting would be over. Don’t they understand that this is quite possibly more nerve racking than the actual interview process?

Baseball…

So, after 2 years of missing baseball, I finally made it to a game. The Giants new stadium in SF is pretty cool, unfortunately the Gs lost the whole series to the Indians this weekend.
Thanks to Justin for going with me and driving me up there, even if we did get a little lost in the beginning!

So behind!

OK… so my plan of keeping this updated with little mini reviews of the books I’m reading hasn’t worked out so well. Since the last entry, I’ve read Speaks The Nightbird by Robert McCammon, Dirk Gently’s Holistc Dective Agency and The Long Dark Tea-time of the Soul, both by Douglas Adams, and also Everything is Illuminated, a wonderful little novel by Jonathan Safran Foer.
Oh, and I’m currently working on Thomas Pynchon’s Gravity’s Rainbow, although it’s turning out to be a hard read for me!
Hopefully soon I’ll have time to post more about all these books!
